I <3 my copperhead. Even though I'm sure the way I use it will result in carpal tunnel.
Btw-- the G9... what mouse did you use prior to that? |

Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends on what we think. What we think depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.

MX518 is very good, but any mouse from one of the bigger manufacturers should be fine, as long as it feels good in the hand and have recieved generally good reviews.
Some important things(for me atleast) are; -Adjustable sensitivity - Great for many things in games like tanking, sniping, different weapons etc -Plenty of buttons on the side to bind to voip, browser navigation, important game keys etc -Optical with high resolution Optional things that can help you out are progammable macros, modifiable weights and available accessories like glidez. |

Personally, I've never been a fan of Logitechs. For me, they're to tall. Damned Panzer mice. My hand starts to hurt after using them, because I've got fairly wide hands. So I'll probably buy a Razer something-or-other soon, as they're flatter and wider than the Logitech ones. But right now, I'm using one of these:

I have an MX518, works well enough for me but I have big hands and I would prefer if it were wider, but it gets the job done.

IMO the only mice any gamer should be buying is one of these:
- G5 - new G5 with 2 thumb buttons - G7 (if you don't mind wireless, but I'm told it's got no wireless problems because 1 it's 24 Ghz, and 2 it's got hot swappable cartridges, you can reload the battery in like 1 second) - G9!! These are all Lazer mice, and they own the crap out of optical mice. Just don't use the G5 on a black surface, because apparently it doesn't like very very dark surfaces. Not only do all these mice movie like buttah, they all have on the fly DPI changing, which means they have a little - and + button on them and while you play you can switch sensitivities. So when you want to swing a tank turret around fast, you use the fast one. When are running around normally you use the medium one, and when you are zooming in with apc's, tanks, or even sniper rifles, you can switch to the low one. |
