OW yeah, I ran the game on a AMD 64 Dual Core, 2GB RAM, crapy X1600 512MB on all medium without any effects and it ran smooth (25FPS?). Even on low the graphics look two times better than FEAR and a hell of a lot better than Battlefield 2. Plus it has destructible environment, advanced physics, lighting, tactical movements, etc. I say PR should change engines.

destructible environment?you can't even knock barrels off or destroy static objects inside buildings such as computers, heck even HF2 has more interactive environment then this..I am really disappointed from this - to much hype I guess.

It's the beta; they didn't include some of those features, including NO destructible physics for the multiplayer Beta. I thought you would notice that. They wanted to keep the beta size small (since they do not release new patches for every fix, they release new client files), so the multiplayer beta doesn't include some of those features I mentioned above. Expect to see most of the cool stuff in the singleplayer demo (end of Oct). Ow yeah for some reason the game runs better for me on all medium while running at 1280x800.

They also stated that multiplayer wont have all the destructible features and whatnot - at least not as much as singleplayer.

The beta is alright. To me, it lacked a little in fun factor, maybe due to the fact that even a high end PC like mine cant keep up. I played in 1680x1050, on a mix of med-high and get about 15 fps. The game doesnt look as good as I thought in my honest opinion.

One thing that bugged me is the abundance of these fugly civilian trucks, and the lack of military hardware on a battlefield. It should be the other way around. I wasnt expecting for a second that 90 percent of the teams would be driving around in a toyota. I was expecting armored humvees, etc. Which the NKs have, and the US dont. Some things just dont seem right, and the damage system... dont get me started.

Wow Dylan, you must not have played at all....whoever controls the vehicle depot gets access to IFV's, MBT's, artillery, AA, machinegun/gauss/AT jeeps, etc.

I know that, thats not my point. I rarely see people buy the vehicles, I know they are there. My point is that the amount of plain civilian trucks outmatch the amount of military vehicles in the feild at any given time. If that doesnt make sense to you, then maybe you havent played at all?
