E6300, X1950PRO 256mb, 2gig of ram.
It ran like shit, bouncing between 15-30 fps on medium settings at 1440x900. Overall I am not impressed, its just pretty graphics and awesome physics, gameplay its exactly like vBF2 with one cool exception is that you can shot the wheels of cars making them turn in to a rock and explode. What I can see happening is mods that will make this game worthwhile..something like PR with Crysis physics/graphics.. |

@[R-DEV]RikiRude:
Not really. OFP was made by Bohemia Interactive Studios (BIS) on their engine called Real Virtuality and was published by Codemasters (they also released their own expansion called Red Hammer). Later, there was some kind of argue between BIS and Codemaster, therefore they both went their own way. Just like in Far Cry, the brand trademark belonged to publisher (Codemasters in this case) and the engine stayed with the developers. BIS decided to make a new game, called "Game 2", which is now known as ArmA, based on the "From the creators of Operation Flashpoint" title under the name. Now Codemasters, decided to make their own game, based on the fact, that they have the Operation Flashpoint brand registered. I'm not sure what their plans are, either 1) they wanna make a profit so they'll use the Operation Flashpoint title to lure the original OFP fans, and the totally ramboish, BF2 like, gameplay to lure the mainstream (12 years old kids). 2) wanna be a fair developer/publisher and will make a game that will please the OFP fans, because it'll be like continuation. I'm a bit skeptical about the 2nd choice, tho... But I'm not saying I'm some kind of god, so I could be wrong Also I feel like I'm derailing this thread a bit, sorry. |

Anyone got a key left? I'm not THAT interested in Crysis that I would sign up on filefront just to get a key, but before anyone throws his/hers away, I would use it to have a look at the most hyped game ever

Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends on what we think. What we think depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.
