Way too many entries in Google to post just one, so Google 2012 or 12/21/2012 (21/12/2012 <for my European friends) Or any combination dealing 2012.
How come so many people and cultures ancient as well as modern subscribe to these predictions or at least feel that a singular event will unfold? Mass psychic phenomena?

I think there's too much information to easily dismiss. So what do you think; hyperbole or damn straight?

*I searched for any threads/posts dealing with the 2012 theoretic end times but was surprised you guys haven't discussed it between what shoes your wearing and whether you dress your "package" left or right heh-heh.

That y2k deal was about human error, although you are on to something because both events deal with mathematics and numerical strings.

#1 reason I never believed that is because for the Jews it's already 5,000 something. For the Hindu's it's like 7,000 something

If any of the big predictions results in the deaths of millions/ billions i would hazard as guess it originated from some from an alien or higher being ext. ext. (not from a human on pot)

Therefore these persons would have been monitoring and influencing the development of human civilization since it early beginnings at least, however small or great BUT because human civilization has only just begun, it would seem utterly ridiculous for these persons to have a hand in its destruction - motiveless!

But because i dont believe such persons would have such a destruction or globally felt influence at such a time in the development of human civilization, i consider all of the predictions that are not based on scientific evidence of an event to be incorrect.

For Muslims, it would be 1300 something, since they started counting on the year 766? (or 677?)

Well the Prophet was born in 571AD I suppose that's when they started counting, so that would make it 1432AH for our 2012AD? Weird he died in 632...632/1432?...just a coincidence??? heh-heh numbers can really mess with you.

Actually Cayce was referring to the dawning of the age of Aquarius when we go back to an Atlantean mind set. peace on Earth and all that good stuff.

	1 Grab a SAW 2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag 3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW! 4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully!
