It seems quite narrow minded to me and quite often i find people preaching this view to be living in places that completely lack any sort of cultural mix, which couldn't possibly mean that they are subjected to these 'negative effects' brought by conflicting cultures. Also, Im never sure what an earth some people are on about when they complain about "Taking British jobs away from British people", when their next argument seems to be immigrants "Are lazy and dont do anything for the community"... That lazy, do nothing immigrant polish guy who takes welfare, and at the same time takes a plumbing job away from a hardworking Britain (Plumbers are pay WAY too much if you ask me anyway). Irony also being that many of our 1st world countries with better standards of living were built on a booming slave trade (which involves 'doing f'ck all' and forcing others to do it) and colonization (which frankly IS not respecting the freedom of natives). I dont think most people with strong opinions have any idea how strongly immigration benefits their own economy. ...mongol...

I would never claim they immigrants, illegal or otherwise, that I have known are lazy as a group.
For the first thing they made the effort to get here. And usually they don't have family that will support them while they sit around and do nothing or study basket weaving at the local community college. But you need to face the fact that illegals in the workforce hurt the legal workers. I don't know what percentage are really doing " jobs that we won't do" but in my profession, the oft maligned plumber, they are very common. They, immigrants, are not by any means stupid or unskilled and since they are willing to work for less than I am, and the employer doesn't need to pay all the associated costs of a legal worker they are far more likely to get hired. I personally could give a sh_t if you want to live in some ethnic enclave because I know that your kids will wander into the wider world of America and most won't want to go back to the enclave and will marry and have children with someone of a different ethnic background and so create another pure blood American. |

Mexicans crossing the borders illegally? We friggin moved the border on them....heh-heh.
In the 1800's we took California, new Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas from Mexico as well as conquer all the way to Mexico City. The only reason we didn't take Sonora was that it didn't have sufficient water at the time before modern irrigation techniques. Hell if the Brits hadn't of come back to spank us in 1812 we would have taken Canada as well! |

And if you keep going back almost every piece of dirt used to belong to someone different than it does now.
screw La Raza and that transcontinental migration BS. America has clearly defined borders and I don't think it too much to ask of our over sized federal government to know, when and where someone crosses that border. It's not racist or anti-immigrant or nativist to want some level of control over the borders of your own country. That's leaving aside the terrorists, who could easily learn to speak Spanish and fool most if not all Anglos. |

Yep, yep, true, true, but I seriously think the border is blatantly open on purpose. what's gonna happen when they officially open the borders to Mexico and Canada within the North American Union? That would give Mexico a reason for being extra diligent in who they let into ol'Mex. In fact I'd bet all Mexican borders as well as international airports will be manned by joint US/Mexico agents. That's the super duper secret plan...the Monroe doctrine in turbo mode.

From what I understand the Mexican immigration laws are quite strict, now I also understand enforcement to be more of a fluid nature.
I understand that fluidity is common in many government agencies and I don't see how US agencies would adapt to that level of fluctuating priorities. IF ya know what I mean man .. |

Our system is based on British common law (the Magna Carta) where you are innocent till proven guilty and offered bail to prepare your case. So yea the US will have to re-program the entire Mexican psyche.

You are very welcome compadre. Heh-heh, I'm laughin my assoff as well because the American cultural mindset programing apparatus is on hiatus at the moment till we sort out who we actually are at this point in history.
We might end up as compliant subservient camposinos one day...or is that actually the plan? To be held in check by the price of tortillas? Marie Antoinette; "Let them eat Tortillas...Que passa Amigo? |

Two man thread?
Yeah, id have to say that immigration could be slightly better in the UK, but its not 'at crisis levels' as many tabloids would tell you. However, there are far many more problems in the UK, like UBER bureaucracy and Tim Westwood. ...mongol... |
