I move into the University of California, Santa Barbara dorms next Sunday. UCSB, also known as University of Casual Sex and Beer, or U Can Study Buzzed.

I'm moving into the Francisco Torres dorms, and I noticed this gem on the Wikipedia page about them:

In May 2006, UCSB was listed as the #2 party school in Playboy Magazine. Playboy.com listed the Francisco Torres dorms under the heading "Sex Legends" citing the dorm's "reputation as a promiscuous, crazy residence hall".

So if I disappear for a while, you'll all know why.

Hey Santa Barbara is where im from. Lived my whole life there (well technically about 10 min away) until about a year ago, when i moved to the bay area for school. Good town but if your going to UCSB, try and stay away from isle vista. Place is wayyy too crazy.

Wouldn't mind living in those dorms though

Even though its considered a 'party school,' i knew a lot of people who went there and really liked the courses and teachers. SBCC is really nice too, one of the best community colleges in the country.

Nice to meet someone who grew up in the area.

The Francisco Torres dorms are about halfway across the length Isla Vista, but right above it, so they're a ways off campus.

I don't know what you're talking about avoiding IV for, that place is the party at UCSB. Although Halloween apparently gets pretty crazy.

That will be for a special closed off section for adults only. You need to use a credit card to verify you are over 18 years of age and deposit a small fee. $100 US. Or there will be no display of anything more sexually arousing than my old SAAB - RustBucket model

Ehm, it's the off-topic forum I might give someone a warning for posting something stupid in the "serial" forums, but in here I wouldn't really unless it's blatant spam.
