They're gonna force us to upgrade to DX10

You should see my DX9 card run DX9. lol I'm sure your card dominates mine. I get a video card every two years or so and it's never the top of the line. My 7600GT still provides acceptable performance.

Yea now that's a different dog that's gonna bite someone down the line...reminds me of when ATI's Hardware transform and lighting (T&L) was finally used in a game (BF1942) It hung over the gaming community like Damocles' Sword for about 2 years till a developer got the balls to finally run with it (if the game sucked who was gonna buy a new card just to play one game?). And man the video card industry scored a bonanza on that action...lol...kids were crying all over cyberland.."why won't my game play, I just bought this machine"

Back then most gamers used Nvidia because it was the cool guy fad card after they bought out 3dfx with their Voodoo graphics technology, and Beside the fact that the 3dfx fix wore off and Nvidia had to develop their own new tech, I do believe T&L is what brought ATI cards to the forefront.

That just means DX10 servers will be deserted, Vista barely has 6% of users and I'm willing to bet not 100% of them have DX10 cards.

Well more and more will get vists... When its better! But i don't see any problem with DX10, well just that you need vista. But the only real thing i hate with vista is that it use lots of ram lol
