Thanks for the post. Yep it's shaping up well but then Intel will release something to surpass. It's always cat and mouse but maybe AMD can regrasp thier hold on the processor even when Intel release a competitor for this; I'd love to stick with AMD.

I rock so you don't have to.

I read a review in PC Buyer to the effect that it will be at least one more generation of CPU's before AMD can catch up, as the Core2 Quad is already as powerfull as the new AMD, and the next gen Intel is due out soon. That said, for most users you won't see much gain if any going to intel unless you start looking at top end 64 bit processing.

If you think about it, by that standard we should all quit any spending on gaming, give the savings to UNICEF, and just read books or something.
