Dog Biscuits

The rectangular dry, plain biscuits you get in Rat Packs (see above) Not to be confused with the wonderful biscuits containing rasins that are infinitely preferable over the plain ones.

Rodney

British army officer (one who cannot read map to save his life.) Not to be confused with Rupert the RAF equivalent.

Squared Away

All sorted out.

(Actually this originates back to the Nelson Era - Navy days, when every morning sailors would have to pack up their bedding, into a set size - square shape - then it would have to pass through a square wooden frame, to be acceptable, this was due to the lack of space onboard, if it wasn't they where punished)

Adopted by the army, in the 1800's, "My stuff is squared away" (In their Square Packs)

egg banjo

A fantastic meal when on exercise, including the oily fingerprints on the bread

Thunder Box

Toilets situated at bivvie areas on exercise areas, usually constructed by digging a huge hole then placing long planks above to sit on & surroundeded by corigated sheet metal.

So named as it sounds like thunder when having a poo after eating 'rat packs' for long periods of time.
