yeah, those are GSh cannons, named after two developers Gryazev and Shipunov, those guys developed lots of good stuff ranged from pistols to CIWS and precision guided munitions

that pic was made on parade after Zapad-81(West-81) manoeuvres, it was biggest soviet exercise, comparable to ww2 operations(6000 tanks, IFV and APCs not counting arty and other shiz)

Was searching though loads of disks and memory sticks I had lying around. Came across this picture of the school's OTC from 1912. The amazing thing is judging by the size of that, and comparing it to how long i remember the schools Roll of Honour as being, a lot of them didn't make it back from WWI.

For some reason it kept on reducing the size when I attached it, so i'll just pop the full size one in below.
