Nvidia Driver
The Nvidia Driver sucks, I have recently got a new Nvidia gfx card and it doesn't tell me much about my graphics card. For instance i cant seem to find
my gfx core or memory in mhz on the driver, so how cant i go about this? |

The new Nvidia drivers are worse that shit through a grater. With them I get lots of artifacts in every game, (before you ask my card ISNT overheating).
Theres no real answer to your question like, different drivers act differently on different machines. Just because the official one right now is crap for me doesnt mean it would be for you. Just try out different ones, and see what you get. PS to see all that stuff dont you need to nvidia performance application http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/sysutility.html |

Well its not just for overclocking, you could see your graphics card info using it to. Or you could always just look on the box you card came in or look it up on the net.

Well first off what graphics card are you runing and what version of driver is installed? If you don't know right click and navigate through the properties to find your video card and driver versions.
There is a utility from nvidia called ntune that gives you acces to track temperature and change certain settings. I have it but prefer RivaTuner. Riva has a ton of features for tracking temperatures, fans, and a host of other things. Go to guru.com and download it. There is a section that explains some of the features and how to change different settings. You can create fan and overclocking profiles with it among other things. I have used it to control and track my last three video cards. As for measuring FPS, you can download fraps and run it. |
