The perks thing for multiplayer is the only thing I grip about CoD4, I probably won't be playing online though. CoD does make very fun single player campaigns.

I hate CoD's multiplayer, but singleplayer has always been great. I was happy to see an 'M' rating prominently displayed in this trailer, since a modern warfare game really does need to be gritty and serious, not just a, "Whee! Lets bust caps indiscriminately into everyone's posteriors!" shooting gallery game like Call of Duty 2 was. The fact that it's actually going to have a good narrative aspect in the story is great because the last few games have just had a text screen and about 10 lines of dialogue in any given mission. I definitely going to try any demos that come out in the following months.

I watched some videos and although it looks FANTASTIC, it's just the same game they have been putting out. Yeah the single player is probably pretty fun, but the multiplayer will be crap imo until some kind of realism mods are made. Damn you PR, you make me so jaded towards other games.

i thought the MP is coming with a hardcore mode.
all these perks im seeing it rather see a mod that made them faction or weapon related, for example the AK's having extra penetration through walls and the US Special forces having faster reload |

I don't know I quite like the perk system makes it more unique for each player.
Although the MP is same as always just get M4 with a scope upgrade and stopping power and spam like crazy. |

Eh, I think it looks fantastic - I don't limit myself to ultra-realistic games.
It will be fun - and that's a good enough reason for me to buy it. |
