If it starts to rumble and you see rocks flying into the air, run.

My sister's been, though I haven't. I'd recommend the canopy zip-line tours. I did one in Nicaragua. Fun stuff.

Im not going to Costa Rica because theres dinosaurs there, atleast thats what Steven Spieldberg told me....

Steve: "I've got an M4 attached with an ACOQ Reflex sight, an M203 Grenade Launcher, a 4X power scope, a bipod, a massive night vision scope, a flashlight, a lazer pointer, a suppressor, a drum magazine, and a cappuccino maker"
Dan: "Mhmm, interesting. And how much does the gun weigh? Whats the recoil like? How accurate is it?
Steve: "About 50 pounds, it broke my shoulder when I fired it, and it couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. But it sure looks cool"

My bad, thought Costa Rica was a little higher up in Central America.

lol. I went there 2 years ago during spring with some friends. As for advice: Dont touch bullet ants. Dont fall asleep whilst in direct contact with naked ground.

If your into the whole bug spray thing then bring some. There are a lot of mosquitoes, but if you stay inside around dusk you should be fine.

Also (closer to panama especially) watch out for jellyfish. There are some spots where there are millions of tiny pieces of jellyfish floating around. Not a pleasant experience.

And for your sake, I hope you aren't driving yourself. Much like other south American or 3rd world countries, the driving laws are very...lax.

I would go there, but i'm too afraid of getting wasted and waking up in a tub full of ice with my liver missing.

that's so disgusting... everyone knows kidneys are what they're after

The sound of gun fire so loud and rapid, but it seems to be so quiet around me.
And out of nowhere I feel peace cover me.
I reach down and reload my ticket home.
The taste of cold steel on my lips, and a second later silence fills the January air.
