Yeah, I thought it was decent too. Your allies are good at distracting the enemy so that you can sneak around and take 'em out.
I have an X-FI XtremeGamer also, but the sound was kinda weak for me. There didn't seem to be much bass to the weapon sounds.
Overall, I think it's worth trying. I wanted to keep going and was disappointed when it faded out, so I guess that's a good sign, heh.

lol ok then. I personally thought it was really weak. Everyone has their own opinion I know, but that was my initial impression, and I've played not almost every fps out there. A couple of the points that i noticed that i was referring to:

The blur i was talking about is motion blur. The graphics look mediocre when not moving and when you move your aim around everything blurs. I'm not really sure how you couldn't notice it. It was the first thing i saw when i hit the ground.

The AI was the worst i've seen in any recent game. Your enemies and allies with often run within 5 feet of each other before shooting and often times i found the enemy to run past me (not to mention my can't-hit-for-shit allies) and take cover behind me! I laughed out loud when I saw that happen the first time.

Yes on the hardest difficulty you will die a few shots. Enemies however take 6-7 shots and drop health packs when you kill them.......
Even then, the second time i dropped in i landed 2 feet away from an enemy, he proceeded to punch and beat me while i took my parachute off, then i got up, turned around and shot him in the face. Your allies do nothing except, as Skullening said, distract them. You are still a one man rambo army.

Sorry but to me tactics doesn't mean just taking cover and then popping out to pick off the enemy all by yourself. It means having to have a plan of attack. It means working together with other units to flank the enemy. It means coordination, logistics, and teamwork are more important then being able to shoot fast and accurate. Though its probably the wrong series to expect this out of though.

The weapons DO look and feel like toys. I never ever got the impression that it was a real weapon in my hands and when you fire them it sounds like muffled pop guns. MoH: allied assault had a Thompson that sounded great. What the hell happened to it?

All the models looked.......strange. I can't think of any other way to say it. Maybe its too much bloom lighting, maybe its a color correction/lighting, maybe its the body proportions, i don't know. But something felt really off to me.

Also the games you list as run and gun are all online shooters not single player games. This is more akin to Call of Duty, Unreal, Doom 3, or Half Life (I should be smited for comparing it to this though)

I could go on but I suppose some people will like it, some will not. Oh well.

It comes for the XBox360 as well, so don't expect it to be that good.

The thing is MoH:Airborne has some very touchy requirements such as; You definitely need XP service pack2, no Vista 64bit support, and the biggest hurdle: no shader 1 or 2 version video cards are supported only the newer shader3 cards. *note* ATI x1300 or better, and no sli or crossfire support. Other than that I believe I may end-up reinstalling Mohaa...hahahaha.

REQUIRED SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

* OS: Windows XP (SP2), Windows Vista (32-bit; 64-bit versions of
Windows Vista are not supported)

* CPU (Single Core): Intel P4 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon 2800+ for
Windows XP / Intel P4 3.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 3800+ for Windows
Vista

* RAM: 1 GB for Windows XP / 1 GB for Windows Vista

* Hard Drive: 1.5 GB or more of free space

* Note: 64 bit versions of Windows are not supported

* Video: DirectX 9.0c,
...........

NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT, ATI Radeon
X1300 Pro, or better with Shader 3.0 support for Windows XP or
Vista (Note: NVIDIA 6800XT, 6800LE, 7100GS, 7200GS, 7200LE,
7300GS, 7300GT cards not supported). NOTE: NVIDIA SLI and ATI Crossfire modes are not supported
in Medal of Honor Airborne Demo.

* Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card (Note: For Creative
Sound Blaster Audigy cards running under Windows Vista you should expect
lower performance)

I really enjoyed it!

excelent graphics and animations and lovley ragdoll physics

-seeing an axis soldier run out of a building, hitting him with your rifle while he is running, then see him topple over a wall and his helmet fly off = COOL

i spent like 1/2 the round with the pistol, trying for CQB headshots lol, il think il try hard mode next and see how far i get.

next gen grpahics, the motion blur is outstanding and often it seems like a interactive fmv scene or something

I played it and thought it wasn't anything special.

The parachuting bit is nice, but doesn't make up for the mediocre shooting bit, which unfortunately makes up a large portion of the game. What with it being a first person shooter and all.

All the weapons need a MAJOR fix with accuracy. I shoot at a guy almost point blank with a Tompson or MP40 and some of the bullets still manage to miss I mean, wtf man?

Also weapon damage needs to be upped as well, the Kars and Garands shoot a .30 calibre bullet and some enemies still manage to stay up after two shots, its should be a one shot kill, two at the most, come on its a 30 freakin calibre bullet...
