wtf, i just bought ArmA. I want more patches for the first one not another game i have to drop $50 on.

Bohemia have been working on Game2 for like.. ever.. we knew they were going to develop a true sequel to OFP and this will be it. All they really revealed to us was the name, which happens to be Armed Assault 2.

I just purchased ArmA on Sunday and am having a blast with it. What I like about it is that even with a pretty fast rig, I still have to play on normal resolutions. That means the game has staying power and will look better and better as time goes on. (As graphics cards get cheaper and more powerful)

With Game 2, I'm not sure what to think. I'll probably buy it but it sure seems a bit soon.

If I were you I'd relax, this probably won't be released before at least 2009 Q1/2,
Bohemia Interactive isn't exactly famous for keeping their initially promised released dates.

Codemasters and BIS split up, so Codemasters still has the rights to
the name "Operation Flashpoint". That's the reason the BIS devs had

This IS Game 2, reason it's not called Operation Flashpoint 2 as you said is because Codemaster own the right to the title.
If you still don't believe me my first post is quoted straight from BIS.

	For PR I play exclusively on Tactical Gamer server as "vanity11" For ArmA I play exclusively on Tactical Gamer (coop and evo) as "Vanity"
