Broken Dvd

The only game I play just got broken, yeah, the bf2 dvd

There is no more joy for me in this computer (except 3d modelling

)

But do you have any ideas hw to repair this? I'll send a pic.

Repairing it will be hard, if not impossible, but I think you can send it to EA and get a new one in return.
Otherwise, the game itself is rather cheap now, so you could just get a new copy.

ouch sucks for you, good thing BF2 only costs 20 bucks now.

and well i think you can buy some things that might get it to play but i dont know

I think it's my dvd driver that brakes my dvd's.

It just sucks that I really dont have the spare money to buy again the same game, just got a parking cost :*( Does downloaded iso work?

*edit I mean does crack work?

How To: Make Disk Images

My own disc did the same. It's these stupid cheap cases that break them in the long run.

I bought the game and own the serial that I have my account locked into so :

Download a game image, install Deamon Tools and mount the image to install the game, unmount the image. Get hold of the Mini-Image for mounting continuously to play the game (instead of having the disc in)

If you download an image file, you dont need any crack. Just mount the disc in daemontools or whatever and install it with your own key.

cracked exe's may cause problems with punkbuster, i wouldnt recommend them

Use a disk image. The minimal disk image need to run BF2 only is 1.53 MB.

You should never use the original Disk to play the game. Keep your Original disk safe. This is a silly anti-piracy protection. The disks are too valuable to keep them all the time in your drive, yet alone manipulate them often.

I Use daemon tools to mount the image. (word of caution... during the install, make sure you don't install the toolbar/spyware crap. You can choose not to install it :s)

search the web for bf2mini-skl to get the mininal disk image to run BF2.

No need to crack anything. Just that disk image loaded in a virtual drive and BF2 will run smoothly without the disk.

Again, I insist, keep your original DVD and CD safe.
