As others have said, make an image ASAP if it will work (might have a problem reading the cracked part of the disk).

I'm going to warn you though, STOP USING THE DISK.

A crack like that will cause the disk to shatter after enough spin-ups. The disk is spinning quite fast in there, and you're putting a lot of pressure on the crack. Eventually it will shatter if you keep using it, could be a handful of uses, could be a few dozen. Either way, that thing is going to shatter and it won't be pretty inside of your drive.

I remember they used to have an issue with 52x drives for a while there, where they kept shattering disks, even with minor hairline fractures. Now imagine what they'd do to a crack like the one on your disk.
