Suggested Mods for ArmA

So even after being very let down by the demo, i'm caving and buying Armed Assault. I was a big fan of OFP (who wasn't?) so i feel i have to give it a shot.

I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations for mods to download, both gameplay changing, and graphics changing (skins and whatnot).

XAM 1.3 is really the only one that changes gameplay. Otherwise, not much has been released, as the official tools aren't out yet. It's mostly just skins and models, which aren't included in most custom missions yet. I suggest you browse around Armaholic and have a look through the addons. Or browse the BI forums Addons and Mods section.

Oh yeah.. fast-roping!. Pretty good considering the official tools haven't been released yet.

Note that the fast-roping addon shown above isn't released yet.

I had found a Japanese JGSDF mod for ArmA, but the page has been swallowed up by the intarwebs.

Nevermind, it was for Operation Flashpoint :P

Cool thanks, didn't realize the tools weren't out yet. Those skins look damn cool though.

As I have said, once the mod tools are out its gonna be just like OFP, i.e., there will be more mods than you can shake an M16A4 at.

There are no mods worth downloading yet. Just get the FDF sound pack, and be patient.

I use TrueView, SightAdjustment and Chammy's sound mod, there's also a ton of addons.

Its not realistic at all and revolves around dinosaurs and jurassic park, but still pretty cool

	[RGG] - Pte.Phillips - www.rggsquad.co.uk - Arma ftw Really Gay Guy America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.
