Having worked in a PC game production for the past few weeks, I'd say go easy on DICE. I don't know much about their history, but I know how a publisher can take a great product and distill it down to the relatively impotent thing we're all familiar with.
EA, as their publisher, deserves every verbal molotov lobbed their way. |

Very true about EA being a major player in all the problems, but DICE hasn't been very helpful either. In the end they are the ones making the patches, not EA, and they are the ones ignoring the most simplistic request like a prone-spamming fix. In fact, DICE has added a no fire delay for every position change EXCEPT to prone. Genius eh? | |

I've kinda noticed that company's game quality goes to hell once they get bought out by EA. BF1942 had some good qualities to it, but once EA kept sticking its nose further and further into it, well, we got BF2. There is alot of other examples I could mention, but I'm too lazy too right now.

I read a comment in youtube about a 1.5 patch. Not a good source obviously, but a coincidence?
