How about we wake up and realize that the people who want pot for "medical" use just want to get stoned because they can't deal with their sad little lives? Doctors note my ass.

State's rights now! John C. Calhoun FTW! But, you do realize what happened the last time a few states wanted more autonomy from the government? Also, many drugs were legal, or at least not frowned upon, in America for a long time. I personally don't care at all that they're banned; I'm not crazy enough to commit a major felony for pleasure. The only thing I am bothered by is that the federal government it trying to make an example of these people by ruining their lives, even though they're a very minor part of the problem. All this is is the RIAA vs. music pirates v2.0, and it's going to end up an even bigger mess than it was to begin with. I mean, the only good thing that came out of the piracy issue was that it gave me the ability to shout, "YARRR!!" in public without looking like I was using medicinal marijuana!
