His website was just created a few days ago. My guess it's a scam, purely based on the picture. If he really wanted a honeymoon for his wife, he would have posted her picture too. Below is the website registration info.

I'm reluctant to contribute to this sort of thing, especially considering I'm getting nothing out of it. I imagine most people would be much more willing to donate if he was offering to do something stupid/demeaning/embarassing upon reaching his goal.

I would be less likely to give money for a stunt that was demeaing as I think that Fear Factor / American Idol fascination with people debasing themselves is rather droll.
