Kirk or Picard?
It's not an Off-Topic Forum until nerds fight over which fictional starship captain is better! I'd like to see any responses backed up by facts proving if Captain James T. Kirk or Captain Jean-Luc Picard is the better of the two. For me, Picard. After all, he wears a red shirt in every episode, but never dies (if you don't get that, you're probably not a nerd)!

Picard in peace time and for diplomatic matters. Excellent flag ship CO
Kirk in war time and for when diplomacy has failed. Excellent warship CO. In conclusion Picard. Kirk is too reckless for me. Granted he knows how to get the damn job done. That and how to bring back new STDs for Federation scientist to research. |
