There is one redeeming quality of Kirk, though; his doctor is way cooler. After all, he's a doctor, not a bricklayer! Also, "He's dead, Jim," is an awesome expression. Picard just had a bunch of elderly women, who did pretty much nothing at all, as his doctors. Lt. Commander Data, however, got all the chicks, and he's incapable of getting space STDs!

1st Officer

Kirk: Commander Spock

Picard: William T. Riker

I'd say a win for Picard. Spock was cool in his own way,but just too boring. Riker had the right amount of humour.

Doctor

Kirk: Leonard McCoy

Picard: Beverly Crusher

Ok,this one's for Kirk, nothing above the good ol' "He's dead Jim". Although you'd know it before because every time someone died, it was somebody who you'd never seen before but who said something.

Engineer

Kirk: Montgomery Scott(y)

Picard: Geordi LaForge

Phew, Irishman versus African-American, minority contest . But again this one's for Picard, simply because Geordi's funnier. (And also because there is not this old routine: "Scotty,how long for the repairs?" "Captain,I'll need at least 4 days!" "Scotty,you have 4 hours!" "Captain,I'll make it in two!" )

Weapons Officer

Kirk: Hiraku Sulu

Picard: Worf

Worf. Period. He's big,he's black,he swings huge blades.... Sulu don't stand no chance.

Navigation

Kirk: Pavel Chekov

Picard: Wesley Crusher/Natasha Yar

Hmm...Natasha>Checkow>Crusher. Wesley's just some neverending nuisance, Chekov was cool, although(or because) I hardly understood any of what he said.

Quota-Woman

Kirk: Nyota Uhura

Picard: Deanna Troi

Troi wins. I mean, she can read your emotions,what can Uhura? Phone you?.
And I still don't think that Uhura is a proper name for a woman (I guess only germans will understand this.)

Science

Kirk: Spock

Picard: Data

Come on, Kirk can't even afford a designated science-officer. Pfff Data wins anyway, I mean, he's nearly indestructible and stronger than even Worf, he's an Android and still had an affair with a human (Natasha),and he's just cool.

So....Overall win for Picard's crew.
