BF: Bad Company in 2008!!! So I Hope PR2 on 2010 or around... :)

"Battlefield: Bad Company is a first-person shooter under development by Digital Illusions CE. Currently planned for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Bad Company will be the first Battlefield game to be developed specifically for next-gen consoles. More information about the PC and PlayStation Portable versions are speculated and may be presented at a later time. It is expected to be released in 2008.

Destructible Environments

One of the new features exclusive to Bad Company will be the addition of 90% destructible environments. Most of the terrain will be able to be destroyed, enabling players to create strategies with this new opportunity. For example, snipers might be able to blow away a corner of a building so that they could use that section as a place from which to fire. This does not mean that they are invincible, however. Vehicles such as tanks will have the firepower to destroy many of these buildings, encouraging the player to retreat and find another strategic point. ....." Wikipedia

Major problem is that it is only officially announced for Xbox360 and PS3... I'll probably get it, but last time I checked, making a game for a console tends to put off the mod community

once it comes to the PC, since it will be next-gen consoles first and even then if they translate it properly, don't have too much hard coding and provide the tools or ability to mod it.

No it's definitely not the future game for PR. It's for the consoles...and no it's absolutely not BF3 either.

The screen shots look pretty but all the models later don't look much better then BF2. This would fit with EA's strategy of releasing a rehashed release in between major releases.
