I also get the impression that it's more focused on the SP aspect. And like others said, the fact that it's being developed for consoles first probably means little, if any, modifications can be made.

the ps3 is a very flexible piece of kit, you might even see mod tools pop up on there

Its PR on graphic steroids... without most of the realism

Lets not forget the things that were promised before BF2 came out. They promised laser guided bombs targeted by special forces, made a big deal out of destructible environments, showed helicopters that weren't included in the game, and advertised DYNAMIC maps. Maps that would adjust the borders and flag numbers in real-time as more or less players joined the game. I know they promised or insinuated more but I can't recall all of it...

If PR mods that game then i will buy a PS3 just for that, but it would also be the demise of the mod, sense most people wont pay $600 to play PR,

FPS games are way better on PC than they ever can be on console. On console you are pretty much useless as a newb without an aimbot. Mouse over controller any day.
I do play alot of Rainbow 6: Vegas on my PS3 though

This isn't BF3. -1 to the OP for that title. DON'T expect a console game ported to PC so a company can squeeze a few more dollars out of it to be very popular or moddable.
