I tried out this mod 2 months or so back but I didn't like it as it's game play was way more run and gun than PR's was. However, since it's apparently had a new version out I wanted to try it, but it seems that their site does not have a download link and nither does their ModDB page, which is weird. What happened to it?

Oh and DC for BF2 is out.

EDIT: Ok apparently DC has been out for BF2 since April, though their site is down and modDB claims to have it's files, which it does not...

doubtful. its hard for me to play any mod on BF2 unless im just giving it a test run through because all i think is "uhg, this is so unrealistic, this sucks, this sucks.... but all these weapons are cool, i want them in PR" it then makes me say, why did i bother to DL this!

I have to play an entirely different game to get out of PR mode =P

doubtful. its hard for me to play any mod on BF2 unless im just giving it a test run through because all i think is "uhg, this is so unrealistic, this sucks, this sucks.... but all these weapons are cool, i want them in PR" it then makes me say, why did i bother to DL this!

I have to play an entirely different game to get out of PR mode =P

Yea EOD and Dcon have both been out for awhile and yes there are single player with I might add, fairly well tuned bots. Both mods are extremely true to their original BF42 versions.

I read above in a derogatory tone that EOD as well as Dcon (yippie!! >"village lost" map) was too "run and gun" Well hell man that's the beauty of it. You kick-out the jams and go total CQ firefight. After a fantastic FPS work-out, you come back here and settle in to the more controlled reality based game-play of PR.

PR has ruined EoD for me and I'm affraid may ruin FH2 for me. I tried EoD and the first thing I though was "my dog this is so un-polished, the textures are rough, models are weak and the gameplay is all about rushing" Not to take away from their work, it just doens't suit me now. I loved the original EoD and the only reason I bought BF2 was for FH2, which I fear now will not stack up well in my PR tainted mind

totally agree! i mean heck i bought BF2 for POE2 and FH2 as well. And I haven't even tried POE2 for a split second. Though I know the power of WWII will suck me into FH2 and either:
A: Away from my Zombie Master time on HL2
B: Away from CoH (oooh I hope not!)
C: Maybe an hour a day from PR =)

or some combination of that. there's also a chance that once i get past all the new vehicles and weapons and classes that it will just loose its effect and fade away. but i have high hopes for FH2.
