You made the flat statement that sex is fun and has nothing to do with a relationship.

I really could give a shit what a dolphin does but teenagers having sex is not a good thing.

You can trot out any study you like and it won't change the fact that kids are kids and they F-up and that creates children nobody was ready to care for.

What passes for morality in Europe and America is not exactly universal and while polygamy may seem very odd to us it still comes with rules.

I think its' the rule part of anything that bothers you the most.

The idea that someone is telling you what to do chafes and makes you want to prove that whatever you say is correct, because you said it.

The problems that exist in the concept of two parents raising a child versus 1 mother, a homosexual father and a transgendered grandmother are pretty obvious.

My point was that yes, a loving family, whoever it is structured may provide a good home for a child but having a mother and father is better, on the average.

Divergent, different, new, unusual, strange; all these things don't have to be bad but in practice often are.
I don't see that you can prove the free love concept has created a better or more pain free society than the old fashioned mother and father style family.

It is very simple, you make statements that imply your "moral" code is the proper one and then you shuck and jive to prove it.

And no "anything that feels good" is not such a way, because you miss my other point. Sex is between (usually ) 2 people, its an exchange. Not one taking from the other.
So like in any other social interaction, if there is not respect toward other person it will not be a sustainable behavior


Sex, to many people, is not an equal exchange, the patriarchal culture ensures that.

Sex has power and it is used on a daily basis by both genders.

What may not be sustainable is still occurring long enough to have long term effects.

What should be often simply isn't and pretending that intentions are more important than results is what has caused so much violence and cruelty in the world.

Billybob and Shaniqua are smoking rock in the park not because society failed them but because their parents, or parent failed them, and that is far more likely to be the case if their parents, JoeBob and Tanyeesha, dropped out of school and had some babies by 16 or 17.

That path is in turn more likely because there is no societal shame and having a child out of wedlock is considered a " choice", indeed " My baby daddy" has become a common term.

Telling people to wait until they leave high school to have sex, wait until they are married with a job before having babies is not repeating a long history of failure and repression, indeed those factors more than any others determine whether you will live in poverty or not.

and about the study: straightedge, i win again. the bottom line is blood, pull back the hammer and write your name in hell. 135 IQ. too bad those tests dont really have any significance except in general studies like this. person vs person it has no real relevance.

Yeh I've taken those IQ things several times and it's all pattern recognition. Hell, it goes up and down from test to test some times, and I've actually been outscored once by a elementary school kid (as that particular version had more color patterns)

That has to be the most arrogant, self serving statement I have seen posted here and that is saying a lot.
