Meal, Ready to Eat, Individual

So the other day I got three MRE's form a guy I know. I asked for them by name, so I knew what the main course was in each. One was cheese tortalini (good), the other was spighetti and meatballs (good) and this one I'm about to eat is Beef Enchilada. Never had an Enchilada before but I guess there is a first time for everything.

I've heard alot of criticism about MRE's but they're not that bad in my opinion. This one came with:

Entree box (Beef enchelada with sauce)
An unnamed sealed pouch that feels like some sort of burrito wrap
EDIT: They where tootsie rolls
Mint Chocolate chip cookies (I like)
Picante Sauce (A large amount...)
Vegetable Crackers
Cheese Spread with Jalipenos
Refried Beans (:-/)
Grape Juice powder
Heater
Spoon of power
Pouch of stuff containing yet MORE coffee, gum, etc

Yum.

From what I hear, the Brits love the MREs and the Yanks love the boil-in-a-bag we have.

Hehe, mre shits! Welcome to the club. Seriously though, mre's aren't really that bad. They could be a lot worse. They just get really old after a while. And as a consequence, I don't think I'll ever be able to eat skittles again.

I know a guy who served in iraq and he said after 30 days of 2 MREs a day they get really discusting
