Red Orchestra one up's PR

http://www.redorchestragame.com/foru...ad.php?t=20748

"The first "BIG" announcement we have is a massive new map entitled - Krivoi Rog. This map is an all out long range tank slugfest featuring a playable area over 4 kilometers long by 4 kilometers wide and a viewable range of 3000 meters. "

To hell with crysis engine or Quake Wars, PR should just switch over to the Unreal Engine 2.5 Imagine PR with leaning, free aim, and the ability to have amazing ballistics like RO. Not to mention the amazing abilities of locational vehicle damage.

that being said, anyone want a guest pass?

If you move to a new engine, does that mean you have to re-do all the work? Is there a utility you could use or create to import at least the models and everything into a new engine?

Just for me, if I spent years creating something I'd have a hard time abandoning it to start over fresh on something new.

For PR I play exclusively on Tactical Gamer server as "vanity11"

For ArmA I play exclusively on Tactical Gamer (coop and evo) as "Vanity"

That is going to be a sick map for tanks, not to fun for infantry. I love RO but it lacks the teamwork of PR. If RO had more vegetation and trees it would make for an even better experience. Is this map going to be in a new update or a community download?

Cheers,

Close your eyes and imagine some really cool military picture, or better yet a really funny picture in this space. I said close your eyes damnit!

4 x 4km is what kashan and qinling are, thou 3000m view distance for a map thats only 4km is a bit much IMO, you will be able to see too much of the map at one time.. Thou its still really awesome, I would have more of a 8x8km map for a 3000m view distance, if it was possible in BF2
