One of my friends was gushing about Project Reality.

He demonstrated it for me, I loved it, saw I bought BF2 specifically because I wanted it.

I Bought BF2 because i bought BF1942. My online play then was very Desert Combat heavy.

I originally bought the console version of bf2 and stumbled across 'mine' by snokken and fell out of my seat laughing so naturally I had to buy it.

Just following the series, Ive got all Battlefields, (Incl. Modern combat,) except for Northern Strike, I discovered PR at 0.4/0.5.

Enjoyed BF1942 a lot. It was a one of the first in its type. Well, I bought BF2, just to have the same Combined Arms, etc. Unfortunately, the stats system kind of ruined the teamwork on a lot of servers. So I discovered PR at 0.32, didn't quite like it then, 0.4 was fun.

I brought it for the same reason as everyone else, i brought BF2 then discovered Project Reality!, plus i like the fact its mostly british in it which makes me even more happy, since im joining the british army in real life, it gives me a taste of the sort of things that i will encounter to, and at the same time, having fun on the mod ^-^

Im in BF since the BF42 wake demo so it was no wounder that i bought BF2 on release day. After that i discouverd PR at 0.3

Got BF2 after playing 42 and DC, got the expansions, got 2142, played that, someone mentioned PR, I tried it. I have now infested this forum and the game itself with my presence.

Friend had BF2, I got it, statwhoring hooked me onto the came along with clan play. But needed some more realistic gameplay, found this mod, played it with my friend(including a tourny). He went to Japan to teach Engrish, and I haven't played PR much since.

Played 1942 24/7. Absolutely Loved Battle of Britian and Coral Reef maps not to mention the Desert Combat mod. It was just a natural step to get bf2 when it was released
