Our clan used to play CS:S (and still does) but I hated it. I played it a lot as the clan did and I did kind of like it at the start, but after a few months I just couldn't stand it, from it's waiting to spawn for an entire round to the randomness of getting killed, so when BF2 came out I jumped at the chance to get it and so did the majority of our clan.

We played vanilla for a year or so until we discovered PR and since then I haven't played vanilla once. Although I might do one day soon just to see how crap it is compared to PR.

I was a big bf1942 Forgotten Hope player, when they said they would be moding for BF2 that was all I needed to hear. I had played other mods and own BF V but I always ended up back at FH (after a month or two of vBF2 I even went back from time to time). I found PR 0.1 because I was sick of how BF2 played right from the start. I didn't play PR consistantly as sometimes it was hard to find a good server. I should have joined the PR forums a long time ago, I missed out on harassing allot of people unfortunately

Cheers,

Close your eyes and imagine some really cool military picture, or better yet a really funny picture in this space. I said close your eyes damnit!

used to play counterstrike since 1.3 up to cs:s.
I could run around with the desert eagle and 2 flashbangs on dust1n2 and still get a minimum of 10:1 ratio but eventually got bored and tired cause of the 1337 kiddie influx, the new horrificly powerfull hacks and VAC2 taking ages to be released.
bf2 was getting impressive reviews by that time and so I told my gf I want it for christmas and she obeyd
( she told me she felt so embaressed in that videogame store trying to pronounciate it haha)
got bored quite fast of it since it has so many flaws and you need such a badass pc to have fun with the tv missiles and jets.
had heard of PR quite early but thought Ill wait till they move on a bit ( you guys didnt have custom maps/ vehicles by that time)
and well now here I am

Wow ... 340 views tho only 70 votes.
Thats not a very healthy democratic meter

A bit surprised only 2 actually bought BF2 for PR considering the buddy factor.

I had BF1942 and loved it.. and BF:V came out and thought it was amazing. When I saw BF2 I expected it to be the grand daddy of all battlefields! I also kinda got it cause I saw USI's A-10 screenshots and PR's ATV promo pics and fell inlove with those mods.
