Poll: Why did you buy BF2 ? - Page 16

I missed out on it when it was hugely popular but upon hearing about the 1.5 patch I remembered that PR and FH2 were well received mods for it. Bought it for both, but only use it for one

Also it was like $7.99 on Amazon and I was buying some other stuff so I threw it in there.

after playing Joint ops with a clan for ages, they eventually migrated to BF2 and then i did too

played BF2 loads (god i was such a point/kill whore) then tried PR 0.5, liked flying in the A10 on basrah, but the rest confused me, so i went back to vanilla. dropped of BF2 completely and then started playing vanilla again until my mate got me hooked on 0.75, been PR ever since

Fell in love whit BF2, waited for a year to get a computer good enough to run it, played it for another year untill a friend introduced me to 0.75

I bought if shortly after release date. Then got a computer that could run it, and I still think it was a very good game back then, I played it a lot. Then I discoverd PR by version 0.2 or something.

Played Forgotten hope for battlefield 1942 then heard it was being ported over to Battlefield 2, grabbed Battlefield 2 and discovered this awesome mod that is, Project Reality, and been playing it ever since!

wish they could hurry up and bring out battlefield 3 though unless they're telling us BC2 is BF3 which would be really lame if it was -_-;
