As far as I know though, there ARE plans to return to the moon no later than 2020 I think... I read that somewhere on NASAs site.
The return to the moon will also bring about the establishment of MoonBase Alpha. LMAO!

George Bush has committed NASA to return to the moon in order to test equipment and technologies for a manned trip to Mars. Jolly good news, I say.
Apparently, the Chinese are planning on a manned trip as well.

anyway, I do believe we went to the moon, though I've not looked too much into the conspiracy theory. I've read about the fact that there are many different shadows in different directions suggesting more than one light source, when actually, there's just the sun. But what do I know?

I don't think it's unbelievable that America would fake something like this if it just stopped Russia from doing it first.

Course, the question isn't whether we can make it into outer space, but whether that original televised landing was real or not. Why they don't go back to the moon is probably because it's extremely expensive to build/launch rockets, not to mention very dangerous. Plus right now they seem far more concerned with Mars than the moon.
