Detailed Ingame Battlefield Maps

All forms of complex pre-game organization require maps of the levels to be played.

I know the Tourney used to use the CO furthest zoomed in view to take almost hundreds of overhead shots of entire levels and then combine them to create a very detailed map.
However this hihgly zoomed in view no longer exists.

The mini map and all similar maps, like the spwn point map are of a too poor quality to plan complex tactics.

I do not know of any way of aquiring a detailed map of all the PR levels. So i would be very gratefull if some one could imform me of such a way.

Thanks alot.

1 Grab a SAW
2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag
3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW!
4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully!

BF2 minimaps are crap. I tried Photoshoping them, but isnt really helpful. The most detailed ones are on small maps, which is kinda obvious....

You could use the battlerecorder in a local server (type this in the console : demo.recorddemo <Name> and when you're done, type demo.stoprecording also in the console. then use battledirector (google) to view the demo file)
You really don't need more than a few seconds as you will "stop" time while you fly about taking your pictures.

Not a perfect solution by a long shot but it may do what you want.

{ pretty sig removed construction on new one has not begun }
... yet ...

For what its worth seeing as we only use 2 vBF2 maps at the moment; The guys that built the program; "Advanced Tactical Centre" for BF1942 have made detailed maps and tactical tools for BF2.

hmmm...I just noticed that the site is temporarily down for maintenance.

Ok i can record games and view them using BattleDirector.

BUT i do not have away of easily taking mulitple screenshots, that come in a nice jpg or other easily convertable format and does not include some dodgy watermark.

Printscreen - can take mulitple screenshots with out dropping out of BattleDirector BUT when they are viewed on clipboard they are not in a jpg format and cant be converted. I could take 1 and then imdietely past it into a paint or another photo editing program but that would take a damn century.

The Battle Field2 screenshot feature when used on Battle Director only lets me take 2 screenshots at a time (time being from loading the record up to closing it) and therefore this is useless becuase i need to be able to take 100 or so shots. I can take as many as i like in a normal BF2 game but Battlerecorder is slightly different from normal BF2.

I have tryed a few odd FREE screenshot programs but these are rubbish for taking loads of screenshots with out dropping down BattleRecorder.

SO does any one know of a way or a program that will let me take loads of pictures easily, stored them automaticaly and in a format that i can easily edit?
