Need some help
i just got a new mic today and before i tryed it out on PR i tested it in vanilla and no one could hear me, so i went to the audio options and did that test and all i got was static, the n i finally did a search on my comp for the old voip setup from my first mic and tested it on this one and it didnt pick up a word i said, and im 99.9% sure i have it hooked up right, can some one help me out with this?

well i found the dxdiag thing but it cant seem to find the mic when i search it

Click - Start
Click - Run Type - dxdiag Click - Sound Click - Sound Acceleration - Basic Clcik - Apply There are many other threads on this.  |

i must not have it hooked up right, that or the mics a total peice of crap because i still cant hear my voice when i test it with the voip tester, thanks for your help anyway

Try Standard, or No acceleration.
