external hd +itunes probs

ok so i just got a 500 gb external hd and well..... i put so far all my music, videos, docs, pics, and porn on there, and i went to open up itunes and my music is GONE how do i get it back. its all on my hd and i can play it but its not showin up in my itunes. HELP



o and can i say install bf2 on my external and play it off that?

and if i have a xp computer and i install bf2 on my external and can i go onto a vista computer plug in the external and then play?

Um you have to authorize your computer to work with I-tunes so I believe they assume you are transferring music if you try that. I would suggest redownloading through Itunes if you paid for it if not then redownload in general.

You can kinda run it off your external Warthog, but its not going to work as well as if you had it on your main due to transfer speeds on the external being slower then an internal. I can't imagine any huge problems but i think the load times would be much higher.

As for running off of another computer, you can, but it needs to be in the vista computer's registry, otherwise you will get some problems. Also i'm not sure how being installed on two different computers would affect it.
Also same problem as the first question.

You have to deauthorize the first comp so you can reauthorize the second one or just get the Mp3 files and get a secondary player and the problems will be solved.

make a redundant ciopy of tyour music, but itunes still refrences tunes stored on your HD.
you cant just move them.
