So how did you manage to patch the last time??
If you patched it manually then I suggest you follow the same procedure again.

There are several topics in the totalBF2 client support forum about this.
www.totalbf2.com

You might also have to do a complete manual uninstall of BF2 and again, instructions for this can be found in the above mentioned forum.

Thats the problem i did not manage it and all of the battlefield 2 patches have given me the patching failed message.

But when trying to install patch 1.03 i get a patching failed message and need to re-install battlefield 2 with the other 2 patches i got a patching failed message but was still able to play the game.

Did you try to do it manually?
If not you can follow tese instructions: http://realitymod.com/forum/showthre...4350#post34350

They might help.
And you don't NEED to install patch 1.02. Just a fresh install of BF2 then patch 1.03. At least that's what I did...

If you need help to uninstall BF2 you should read this --> http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18709

Hope that helps some.

Sigh it did not work only one more try now.

Im going to install it in its default directory and see if maybe then it will work.

If it doesnt work now then thats it i have tried all possible options to install this patch and re-installed battlefield 2 numerous times if this dosent work then ill wait to Operation Flashpoint 2 a REAL game that doesnt release crappy patches.

Installing to the default directory is a good idea. However, don't expect it to solve all your problems. It might, but with this game you can never be sure.

Just be sure you have removed everything EA from your harddrive and registry before trying to reinstall.

Good luck.
