coffee. is. awesome.
I used to love tea, but I've gone off it. Coffee is such a nice "buzz" in the morning. Especially if you drink it from huge mugs. All this talk about coffee, sooo tempting. |

To answer the coffee grinder question...
The thing with ginders is that you have to grind the beans to the right level depending on what coffee machine your are using. You don't want to grind it the same way for a filter machine or for a espresso machine. Thus, you need a grinder that allows you to do that. You have two types of rinders... the first the coffee stays in the grinder and you "choose" the how fine the coffee will be by keeping it longer in the grinder. The other type is one where you adjust how fine you want the coffee (it adjusts the grinding blades). On the later type, you do not have to worry how long you are grinding it... letting the machine turn longer will simply give you more coffee in the end. I highly recommande the later type, where you adjust the blades and let it run to have the quantity you need. With the model where the coffee stays in the grinder and the longer you let it run, the finer your coffee will be, you'll never achieve repeatable results and every morning you'll be asking yourself "is that fine or enough yet". It gets becomes an annoyance pretty fast. On the other hand, that type of grinder is less expensive. Usually a lot less. I have a Brown grinder. It worked well for more than 30 years... so I guess it's a safe bet. |

Right. Adjustable, precise grinder. Gotcha.
I'll be using a filter-paper coffee maker. The basic drip variety. |
