Not at all. How is goldeneye up there? It was a great game when it came out but the top 10? I agree with mario bros 3, thats about it. Wheres Contra?!?!

All i can say is that the top 8 are complete BS if any of those games deserve to be top it would be Halo Combat Evolved.

Its probably based on the popularity, so the list should be correct.
In the top ten you find all the mythic games, like Final Fantasy, Mario, Zelda, Golden Eye etc.

It's normal that you wont find any new games in that list, it takes time to be as popular as an 10 years old game.

For a better top 100 list check the Gamespot's one.

Zelda. All of the Zeldas. I'm almost twenty-one and I'm playing Zelda: Wind Waker, and it rocks. You've got this little sloop you sail around and you have to adjust for the wind and that's really neat, and the story ties in with the old ones perfectly. If you "got into" the N64 Zeldas then Wind Waker really tugs the heartstrings. And yes, I'll admit to playing kiddie games. I like the innocense in them. It makes a much better "escape" from reality than wandering through the slave cages in the Undercity, WoW.

WHAT? Deus Ex is in the 60's? That was the best... damn. Take FFIII out of there and replace it with Rome Total War and I might just respect this source again.

As has been said: Most of those games are legends. And no game no matter how good will ever be what FF7 is.

not a fan of FF gameplay myself, only games up there i can justify (top 10) and halo and goldeneye. Zelda has some good games but its just not my kind of style.

Super smash bros. amusing, top 10, not a shot in hell. also i think having the sequels in there is a bit redundant.

as far as him being 'RONG' (irony anyone?(kidding of course

)) its strictly opinion, no one is wrong. in fact i strongly disagree (not saying your wrong) that FF7 shows up every single game out now and those to come out in the future.
