Call of Duty 4 - Exclusive E3 2007 Trailer
The gameplay looks amazing... Hope it doesn't disappoint us like Battlefield 2...
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/2...e3i=1&type=mov There's also some plot points and info on Wikipedia about Call of Duty 4, although I wouldn't trust some things on it. The one thing that captured my attention is the "realism mode" and multiplayer info for Call of Duty 4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of...Modern_Warfare "... the player has to unlock the ability through a certain hours of gameplay. The rest are unlocked as he/she gains more experience online and gains higher rank" Oh no, don't tell me, stats?! |

Nice to see a trailer using all in-game engine.
Definitely mega-excited about this, if only for the single-player experience. The multiplayer sounds really iffy, except for the realism mode you mentioned... |

superb visuals. no idea what engine they are using for this release, but it looks impressive.
am sure it will be more of the same for the franchise tho in terms of being heavily scripted (and very compelling) and weak multiplayer support. |

Heh, the supposedly realistically modeled penetration will be amusing. Even more so if they do it right. 7.62mm weapons will be the only ones worth using

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Looks nice, but the story seems a bit strange...

the sniper missions look interesting, there looks to be real opportunity to be sneaky, all the models seem to have a weird glow though

There is also a something called "Last Stand". Once you get shot, you fall to the ground and automatically pull out you pistol and you can either suicide or keep fighting (obviously players would keep fighting http://www.charlieoscardelta.com/indexnew.php Watch the videos on that front page called "Double Tap", "Deep Impact", and "Last Stand" | |
