Looks cool, but how many thousands (or tens of thousands) of dollars does it cost?

Their website doesn't say - but some comments on other videos say around $60k - although this is YouTube, so that's probably very wrong. Still, its like Flat panel TV's. When they firstcame out, £150k was not unheard of, now £500 will get you a 32" HD LCD TV. They'll go down in price as a few are popping up.

It will be widely used ... I promise!
Just combine it with a driving version of Flight Sim, set in France or Italy and you have a winner.

Mmmmm, driving an F1 through Rome, then North to the Alps ... all in one day on a simulator like that ... the stuff dreams are made of.

Flappy paddle. You could also get a Logitech G25 and use that with the manual shift there.

No matter how great the graphics or peripherals, all driving simulators lack the one thing that makes driving fast fun - G Forces.

Flight sims get away w/this b/c of their complexity and combat aspects. But when you're racing a car the g-forces are a major part of deciding when you brake, accelerate, and how hard you turn. With gaming, 20mph feels liek 200. There's no difference. There's zero sense of immersion.
