paralell windows + bf2 keygens + good mac games

Ok so i got my macbook up and running with windows parallell, which runs pretty well all things said. my videocard is somewhat lacking but hopefully the 2 gigs of ram will let me play bf2 on all low settings. I can run CoD2 on medium/high, so im hoping PR will fare pretty well.

my question is will i need a new key for bf2, or should i be fine since i am running it off the same copy of windows that I run it from off of my PC.

also what good games are there for OSX? Im probably going to get civ4 and raven shield, but what else is there? i know macs arent the best for gaming, but art school useage takes presidence over gaming when it comes to my college fund paying for computers (sadly)

christ i havent played PR in so long, I miss playing with everyone and im just excited to get this all set up

Install it and find out :P If it doesnt work if you still have your receipt just email EA telling them you lost your CD key and uninstalled and they will probably ask you for proof of purchase and just scan the receipt.

As long as you won't run both copies at the same time, you should be fine. AFAIK, your CD-Key isn't tied to any hardware hashes or anything.

I have installed my windows copy of bf2 in my macbookpro with bootcamp with no problems...Its better to use bootcamp than paralels for 3d gaming for sure...

yeah i was just gonna say that.

Caustic, you're far far better off running your XP stuff on bootcamp than on parallels. For a start its free, secondly it works seamlessly with the Windows XP installation disk and OS so no faffing around with 3rd party programs which are liable to seriously decrease the efficiency of your system when playing any game.

I have been running bootcamp on a first generation macbook pro now for over a year, and can easily run BF2 on all settings medium and high with only 1.5 gigs of ram. If youve got your old BF2 disk you shouldnt need a new key, just install it on the windows partition as you would on a normal PC. Like i said, if youve got the newer generation macbook you should be able to run most if not all the games out for PC on medium/high. To give you some idea, ive got both supreme commander and ArmA installed on my older machine its running on all medium for both with no problemos.
