Car on fire crashes into Glasgow airport
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/6257194.stm
'A car on fire has been driven at the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport, police have confirmed. Eyewitnesses have described a Jeep Cherokee being driven at speed towards the building with flames coming out from underneath. They have also described seeing two Asian men, one of whom was on fire, who had been in the car. The airport has been evacuated and all flights suspended following the incident at 1515 BST. One eyewitness said: "I heard the sound of a car's wheels spinning and smoke coming out. ' |

Apparent report of a vehicle collision away from the airport.
This could be something simple as a car theft where the resulting police chase caused it to enter the airport grounds. Not a terrorist incident as of yet |

On BBC news an eyewitness was saying one of the guys was trying to pour petrol on it. And there's nothing about a police chase.

Sounds pretty nuts. Scottish airports haven't exactly been rife with incidents.

Yep: all is looking good up here
Scotland was never on the IRA's target list but now it would seem we are on the list of the Mahdi Army. Welcome to the world, Scotland: terrorism has stretched its claws to the North! I'd enjoyed the peace & quiet too. Fucking lunatics. |

It's not gang warfare.
The only gangs that fight in Glasgow are home-grown: Triads or otherwise would not let their inter-clan squabbles get to this extent: "Eyewitnesses have described a Jeep Cherokee being driven at speed towards the building with flames coming out from underneath. They have also described seeing two Asian men, one of whom was on fire, who had been in the car." Moltovs were thrown at the car by these 2 guys when they exited. They're both alive and under arrest. Any space at Guantanamo for a couple more? |
