Don't de so sure what the DEVs can squeeze into anywhere.

If the tanks is not destroyed is it possible to send another crew into it or recover it and use it again later ?

I have one of the Combat mission games and loved it. It does require some time to learn and play. Some times you spend hours planing and only 30 minutes of actual fighting LOL. It is a unique style of game, different from any others I have played. Very satisfying when you get it right, very frustrating when you loose all your equipment or units retreat (bunch of pu$$ys)

I tended to play very cautious trying not to waist units. This game really makes you cherish every unit as it takes forever to bring in any kind of re-enforcments if at all. I know I cried every time I lost a main battle tank (clank! tank immobilized )

Cheers,

Close your eyes and imagine some really cool military picture, or better yet a really funny picture in this space. I said close your eyes damnit!

I really don't know. I'm guessing if a tank looses a track (for example) it won't be recovered until the scenario is over, if you run campaign style scenarios.

I just played some of the demo, and it's quite nice. Sorta like Arma/PR in RTS form(or TBS if you prefer that).
Im still not used to the camera controls and how to coordinate all the units properly, but I guess I just need to read that 200 page manual..

One thing I really like is the distances. Unlike, lets say Command & Conquer, the tanks engage at a few hundred meters instead of like 30. Nice.
The other thing I tried was the artillery barrage. You can set type of targeting pattern, spread, ammo type, duration and delay. There is also quite a long travel time, so the cease fire order can take as much as a minute to take effect.
