Working as a unit clerk for ICU and transporting a patient to CAT scan when elevator got stuck and guy coded in the elevator.
Just me and 1 nurse in an elevator barely big enough for the bed.
I was Bagging him ( illegal ) with one hand and grabbing meds with the other hand from the door that they got open and were lowering stuff through.
Guy lived but died later.
Snowy road in N NY, came around a corner in VW Rabbit GTI with low profile tires and some guy stalled his ATV plow in the middle of the road.
Downshifted into 2nd so hard I ripped the knob off the gearshift and plowed into a field. When I got out I saw that I had missed two tree stumps by inches.
Working w/ Oxy Acetylene torch and the tanks caught fire, no fire extinguisher and somebody had taken the wrench to turn them off away. Tried to close it w/ Leatherman but gave up after some burns, walked away to call the FD and the blow out plug went and suddenly 10ft stream of flame that sounded like a jet erupted into the air.
The had to evacuate the factory we were working at and it burned a fairly large part of the grass up.
Didn't really bother me until about 4 hours later when I realized that 30 more seconds of messing with it and it would have blown my face off.

I only crapped myself from stories, my nephew bs'd about, since my sister lives in some old place with an old church and wrecked medieval castle...
Something about strange powers, ghosts etc...
Altough the place is overpopulated with tourists now, since someone came up with an idea to turn that old church and castle into a gold mine, so no more stories about red eyed wolfs coming out of the woods after midnight...
Think, that was because theres a TV antenna on top of the mountain and it has more red lights than a christmas tree

I have nothing quite as serious as AD&A, but my friend and I went to the beach and we were throwing a football around in the water and we decided to go a little deeper because it was freezing and it was too shallow for us to stand without being exposed to the wind. So I catch the ball and I'm about to throw it to my friend when he looks me in the eye and says "Dude, there's like a dolphin or a shark right beside you. I turn around and I see two fins, one right beside me and another 3 feet behind me. In a split second, three things come to mind. One, what the news would look like on TV, two, the pain I was about to feel if it bit my leg, and three, to swim slowly and not make any sudden movements or it would make the shark bite me. Well, then I thought "fuck that, I'm getting the hell out of here" and I gunned it for the beach, still expecting the painful ripping of my limbs. I swam to where it was about knee hight of water, and looked back. Turned out it was just a bunch of sting rays flapping around. Later when we were eating lunch my friend told me he had seen the fins 15 or so seconds before he told me but didn't say anything because he was "in shock." Needless to say I was about to beat him senseless then and there.

Some of those are really scary....
the only one that I can remember now, is going down into a bomb shelter in Israel because there was a warning of rockets begining fired at the city...

I dunno 'bout ya'll, but I think anything with bombshelters and rocket attacks is very scary.

You so totally stole that from Grey's Anatomy

Your lucky with the welding as well, those things can turn into uber bottle rockets.

I just remembered another really scary moment. I was argueing with my wife and I said NO!.... ya that frigg'n scary. Makes bomb shelters and rockets seem like puppies and flowers.
