I found this very interesting video of South African PMCs in a Mi-24 fighting rebels in Sierra Leone.

It's the only video I've seen of how it is INSIDE a Mi-24 while it's fighting, very cool

Nice find. To my surprise that looks horribly boring. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that they have no loyalty to the country or anything so there is no passion in their fighting.

Anyone else find this disturbing? I watched blood diamond recently as well, which is about similar stuff. Just the idea of mercenaries and hired killers etc, it seems like it shouldn't happen, but I know that it is actually increasingly happening and becoming the rule not the exception.

See how at the end they talk about privatizing things in the UN, and hiring mercenaries to "enforce peace". Sounds like the one-world army. Anyone else think we are living in times where the machinations of the new world order are becoming increasingly visible? Like they are speeding things up lately?

ok video, but the MI-24 Hind is the best imo multirole helicopter you could have...

ground support, aa missiles, at missiles, bombs, troop transporter
(all depending on loadout for task)

I think your just paranoid. The powers of the world are corrupt, but not in the ways all these stupid conspiracy theory's like to think. They do want more control of the world, but not for absolute world domination, what good would that do for them?? Big Brother state is becoming a reality, but again, not in the way these crazy ultra world domination, killing 2 billion people off the earth, conspiracy theories would have you believe. They are crazy about there "secret" groups, and keeping them alive and strong, and they love there symbols, that they splatter all over companies and such they control. (Triangles, snakes, etc) But this DOES NOT mean they are out for world domination, and all the other things, that again, these conspiracy theory's babble about.

that exact man with that exact hind working for executive operations helped secure the release of paras from an RUF village stronghold, with the aid of the SAS, SBS and paras.

if you want a book to read about it look for one called 'operation certain death'. it has all the feets of this man, i think he once flew something like 20 missions a day. I also think this man is justified because the RUF are a nasty bunch, torturing civilians and drugging and raping every women or girl they see, mainly because the are fed a constant concoction of drugs.

The Hind fills a niche that the west has probably detrimentally ignored - flying infantry fighting vehicle. Compare that to the very lightly armed UH60s which act as APCs/battlefield taxis and then the jump to hunter killer Apaches - flying MBTs.
