Signed up. Does anyone have a link to the custom config settings. I want to get all my GPU's active.
I find it works on my SLI rig, but the 2nd card isn't used.

Seriously, I left my PC on for a few days and travelled abroad over the weekend. Upon returning home I turn on my monitor and all I see is thick red vertical lines. Several restarts and extensive cleaning of the graphics card did not help. I am very sure it's just the graphics card, since I can boot just fine but with jibberish on the screen. I don't understand how the hell it happened. The room is well ventilated, in fact a bit cold, the case has extremely good cooling, and in general my system runs nicely - at least it used to until now...

1.Disable the SLI
2.Use -gpu 1 argument to utilize the "second" card

There are 2 versions of the FAH client for the GPU a console and a "tray";
for the console version add that during the initial set up,for the tray -
right click the icon -configure-advanced add it to the "additional client parameters field"
I use both,seems easier that way for the 2 cards.

This might be OS dependant but you need 2 monitors connected to both cards.
1 monitor with 2 inputs (DVI+analogVGA) would work as well.

I actually went and bought a new graphics card, somehow after 1.5 years of loyal service my Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 320MB burned out doing Folding stuff (as explained above), even though nothing is visible on the card.

Got a beautiful new ATI Radeon 4850 512MB, and I've just reached the number one spot in our PR Folding team :)))

No idea, but I guess it's because I am running the GPU client, which churns out far more results than the CPU client (and I run the latter at the same time).

On another note, would the PR DEVs be willing to put a more prominent link to our Folding team on the PR front page or something? I think it would lead many more people to contribute to Folding@Home.

One ATI 4850 will bring about 3000 points per day,assuming it's folding all 24 hours.

One Nvidia 8800 GT will bring about 5000 point per day

Do you guys use Fahmon ? Great little utility that will give you an estimate.
