Scripps National Spelling Bee 2007 Winner: Evan O'Dorney; CNN interview

The Scripps National Speling Bee was about a week or two ago and we who the know the winner was, Evan O'Dorney... After he won, he was on a bunch of interviews on popular television networks. Yesterday, my teacher showed us a video of him in an interview on CNN during class and my class was laughing hysterically! So, here it is!

Scombridae?? or scombrudae??

I bet 90% of people would freeze up if they were on CNN for the first time and being interviewed on national TV......

It was also a satellite feed with some delay and I doubt he had a monitor so what would you expect from a non actor type ?
Besides which he is a great reason for advancing the argument that home schooling is not the answer for everyone.

That might be going a little to far, how many times have you given an interview to a camera and a disembodied voice ?
From what I 've read even experienced TV people don't like sat-interviews and yeah, this kid clearly has social skill issues.

Public schooling raises kids up to the hard hard world.

That kid is going to get thrown into a bus.
