The enemy soldiers are a clone army, I think meant for the military but some wierd vampire dude takes control of them.

I. C .. dam those graphics are crazy .. imagine that graphics engine playing BF2 ... *drooLLLL* i love games that get that good feeling of fire power inside u when u shoot somebody and u see the bullit come out the other side .. its great what technology can do these days .

i played the demo and the game is SICK!!! i played it on full seting lucky my comp is new and it is amazing. wish they body wounds looked beter and head shots but every thing is great the demo was not difficult on the hardest seting thow. the cool thing is how you can decapitate the people and blow them in half it realy cool in slow mo. the game is as creepy hell too you get a chill in your spine when you play it. i did not see the screen shots you have but it makes the game look even beter. if any one can get the game i say get it. if you were afraid form hl2 you going to piss your pants in this game but it will be worth some new underwhear

Yeah the physics and such are amazing. Shooting up a guy in slow motion is amazing. You see blood come out the back of where you shot...they move in ways depending on how they are shot (Ex: shot in arm, arm swings back a bit) Limbs can blow off...and so can the head...very bloody and realistic...it rocks.
I also love how the enemy will throw down things in front of them as cover and they actually use strategy, distractions, etc.

When firefights are over theres dust all over from where bullets hit and such...its freackin amazing.

HOly crap i didnt know about the dust .. i forgot about dust in a real combat, its true after a while of shooting u see a bunch of dust in the room, just check out some of the videos of falluja and stuff .. dam these graphics are sick .. i hope they make a good mod .. lol .. a lil less paranormal a lil more CS source like ..

I have to say that I'm impressed fighting against a fire team, squad or platoon vs. x amount of bad guys working independently.

Haha... I downloaded the demo, and F.E.A.R is the ONLY game I've ever gone out and bought the very next day. All I can say is the graphics are amazing and the engine's physics are awesome. The accuracy of the weapons is great, and I love being able to slide kick... Very reminiscent of HL2 as far as the overall feel of it. With a 2.0ghz proc, 2 gigs of PC3200 RAM and a PCI-E GeForce 6800, it pulls 28-35 fps average on HIGH. Note, there is a MAXIMUM setting which doesn't look too much different IMO, but pushes my system to an average of 24-28 fps... :P Great game nonetheless.

I downloaded the demo and have to say I wasn't impressed, I thought the game lacked originality. However I think that the bad impression was heavily tainted by my 256Mb of RAM...
