Any good strategy games?

Any good strategy games out these days? Something not like Company of Heroes where it has hit points and vechs have fights 3 feet from each other.

But more like Rome Total War where I can build up a nation, then attack.

Any takers?

I suggest you go play Rome Total war some more, and the rest of the Total War series. Aswell as CIV IV and a couple of mods for it

Go get the many mods for RTW, including:

Rome Total Realism
Europa Barbarorum
Napoleonic Total War 2

and many more...

That game is brilliant.

I really liked Sudden Strike 2 back in the day. I think they made a third. That game took a lot of thinking. Otherwise you were screwed.

Supreme Commander has to be the best one out at the mo by far IMO.

really epic battles, upto 1000 units per player and upto 8 players, 81x81km maps, huge battles happening every where, when you get into a battle, you really get into one some lasting hrs. think the longest game i have had sofar lasted around 4hrs hehe, but i have heard of longer

medevial 2 total war is very gd,

also gonna have to agree with supreme commander,

Real Time Strategy games...Tiberian Dawn and Sun where good (3 was alright), so is Red Alert 1, Act of War is ok, Warcraft 1 and 2 (3 was balls), a game called "Trash" (look it up on Game Dev)

Real Time Tactics wise...Medieval Total War (original), Soldiers of Anarchy, Ground Control isn't bad, though the camera is pants, and a Bridge too Far.

Ok I still play RTW on hardest settings with my phalanx donut of death

However I am trying Supreme commander out. Should be done by end of today.
